 About 2 million girls a year experience Female Genital Mutilation, many more are forced into early marriage, and tens of millions are forced to seek refuge from armed conflict and gender based violence.

Give a Girl a Chance, a Feminenza programme, provides financial assistance to help pay for education and contributes significantly towards the cost of the girls' rehabilitation, mentoring and development. The focus this coming year is Africa's Great Lakes Region (Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Tanzania). The girls, upon completion of their education, will contribute to the fund, to help carry it forward for others.

We invite you to help us to give a girl a chance.
